Your Rights and Responsibilities

As a political candidate, it is important to establish the rights and responsibilities that govern the interactions between the campaign and its supporters. The information provided on this page serves as a general guide and high-level overview of what should be included in your rights and responsibilities document. However, it is crucial to seek legal counsel to ensure that the specifics of your campaign are properly addressed in this document.

Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities

Your rights and responsibilities document, also known as terms and conditions, sets the guidelines for the interactions between your campaign and the general public. It outlines the legal boundaries that govern the activities and engagements of your supporters and visitors on your campaign website. These terms and conditions are essential to establish a clear legal relationship between your campaign and its supporters.

Key Components of Your Rights and Responsibilities Document

In general, your rights and responsibilities document often addresses a range of important issues such as the permitted use of the website, contribution methods, a statement regarding potential modifications to the campaign's offerings, warranties provided to supporters, intellectual property rights, and the campaign's authority to suspend or terminate supporter accounts, among other crucial aspects. For a more comprehensive understanding, it is advisable to seek legal guidance when drafting your rights and responsibilities document.

Support The Campaign

All political campaigns run on money and Volunteers. Asking for contributions is one of the hardest parts of a campaign. Asking for Volunteers is even more difficult! Contributing to my campaign will allow me to send letters and flyers out and with the high costs of printing and postage, every dollar helps! Volunteering will help enable many fronts to be covered at the same time

Remember that the Maximum Contribution is $450.00 Per Person per Election. Couples can contribute a maximum of $900.00.

If you can contribute anything, you have my heartfelt thanks!!
